So the previews for this movie did nothing for me... at all. In fact, they probably turned me off to the movie more than anything else. I certainly didn't think that it looked good enough to warrant me parting with $10 of my hard-earned money... and yet somehow I found myself with my friends last night, shelling out $9.75 to go watch it.
And I'm so glad that I did.
This movie was an absolute blast. Sure, it was a little campy and pretty ridiculous, but that's pretty much the industry standard for any musical. It was just so much fun and you could tell the cast had a great time during the filming.
